THE MECCA TALES
THE MECCA TALES tells the story of five Muslim women on the pilgrimage known as the Hajj. When their bus is stopped miles short of their destination, tempers flare and the women are tested in unexpected ways. They share their personal stories in an attempt to move forward in their lives and find meaning in a spiritual journey seemingly gone awry.
Running Time: Approx. 90 minutes (no intermission)
BWW Review:
THE MECCA TALES is a Heartbreaking Work of Healing Genius
..."At curtain call I did something I have not done this calendar year: I joined the entire audience to give well a deserved standing ovation. I could have stood clapping all night."
DC METRO THEATER ARTS Review:
"This
Coriolanus
features an all-female primary cast – yet aside from a few changed pronouns, the play does not suffer. The cast displays steady power, with no weak links."

Recovering from one war and bracing
for another, the people turn to their hero: Coriolanus—a woman ready to lead not only her soldiers, but the state. Or is she? Can the unbending will of this soldier bow to the power of the people?
Or will she go from decorated hero
to enemy of the state?
